  4. Yo  Homies,   this   is  Heavy  D  from 
  5. Collision  (?)  and  I'm  writing  some
  6. musictests  for  the  Top  Secret right
  7. here and  right  now.  O.k  let's start 
  8. with one of the badest LP called "Check
  9. Your Head"  by  the  Beastie  Boys. The
  10. Beastie Boys are: Mike D., MCA  and  Ad
  11. Rock and they come from Los Angeles and
  12. until  now  they  released: Licensed To
  13. Ill  and  Paul's Boutique.  This  album
  14. isn't like the ones before there aren't
  15. that   many   samples  like  on  Paul's
  16. Boutique, because  they  play  all  the
  17. stuff by themselve  and  it sounds good
  18. for a  bunch  of  beginners. The  whole
  19. thing is  more  like a jamsession at an
  20. old bar or something like this like you
  21. hear on the track, Live At  PJ's, where
  22. they start with a  nice  Jazzgroove and 
  23. they end with ?  heavy ? punk ? I don't
  24. know, but it's cool  anyway.  If    you
  25. think that's no rap or  hip  hop,  then
  26. you're wrong coz tracks  like  Pass The
  27. Mic   and   Fingerlickin'   Good  still
  28. remember to the old Beastie  time.  All
  29. in all a LP for  wideminded rapper  and
  30. hip hop dudes.

  33. Now to  a  total  different  musicstyle
  34. which got nothing to do with rap,  only
  35. that Ice T is the singer  and  producer 
  36. of this trashband called  Bodycount. BC
  37. is,   Ernie C., Beatmaster  'V', D Roc,
  38. Mooseman and Ice T and I think they all
  39. come from L.A.. Ice T realeased  before
  40. the  LP's :   Rhyme  Pays,  Power,  The
  41. Iceberg and Original Gangster and a new
  42. one  will  follow  this  autumn. The LP 
  43. consists of 11  songs  and  7  comments
  44. which  contain    comments   about  and
  45. against the governement. There are 2 so
  46. called ballads  on  the  Lp  called  "C
  47. Note" and  "The Winner Loses" which are
  48. very good  and  also hearable for other
  49. people, like your grandma'. Most of the
  50. other songs are  trashlike, but  if you 
  51. like Ice t than you like Bodycount. The
  52. best songs on the  LP  are  KKK  Bitch, 
  53. Momma's  Gotta  Die  Tonight  and   Cop
  54. Killer. As you  might  know  Timewarner
  55. got  trouble  with  the  Police and the 
  56. Governement coz of "Cop  Killer",  they
  57. say it's  against  the  police  and  it
  58. makes  people  killing  cops, here some
  59. words  out  of  the  text: ...I  got my 
  60. stereo bumpin', I'm 'bout  to  kill  me
  61. somethin',  A   pig   stopped   me  for 
  62. nuthin'!, DIE DIE DIE  PIG  DIE !, FUCK
  63. THE POLICE ... Sounds  good  eh ? Ice T 
  64. also   got  problems  with  the  K.K.K.
  65. nowadays, but who cares , just buy  the
  66. damn good record and shut up !
  67. Rating: chillin' !

  69. Now   again  something  else,  the  Old
  70. School   Test!   Today  I'll  tell  you
  71. something  about  the  LP "The Message"
  72. from Grandmaster Flash  &  The  Furious
  73. Five back from  1982! The  first  song,
  74. She's  Fresh  sound  like  a 70's disco
  75. song, but  if  you  hear  it  you  will
  76. recognize  that  this  is  the  oiginal
  77. from where all the stuff is sampled. If
  78. can say it like this,  the  LP  is  the
  79. original  from  the  New  School  still
  80. samples their stuff. It's  Nasty  sound 
  81. like a party song  with  the  cool  old 
  82. school effects. The  next song's called
  83. Scorpio and is an  original  Breakdance
  84. song with this cool voice effect, which
  85. they got back in time,  it's  the  best
  86. one ! It's A Shame is another partysong
  87. with little oldschool  scratches and so
  88. on, the newer song by this  woman ?  or
  89. group ? also called  "It's  A Shame" is
  90. also   sampled   from  this  one  here.
  91. Dreamin'  and  You  Are'    are     two 
  92. candlelight songs for you and your girl
  93. (or otherwise). By the way, Dreamin' is
  94. dedicated to Stevie  Wonder.  And   the
  95. last song, The  Message  you  sure have 
  96. heard back in your young  life,  around 
  97. 1984 when the Breakdance  thing came to
  98. Europe. This LP is worth  searching for
  99. in  the  shops  or  in  the  garage and
  100. putting  it  back  on  the  turntable !

  102. O.k. that's it  for  today,  I'll  just
  103. explain you my rating system  from  bad
  104. to good: *real shit *bad *jammin' *good
  105. *chillin' ! easy, or ? Please  give  me
  106. some reactions to this, so that  I  can
  107. improve it !
